Volunteer
Often, St. Cecilia School has volunteer opportunities available for individuals, corporate groups, and occasionally high school students. Individuals or groups that wish to volunteer on a regular and consistent basis at the school to mentor or tutor students, work in the library, or other student-oriented activity, are required to have a background check and attend a Protecting God’s Children seminar. We also may have opportunities for one-day service projects that include light maintenance or working with students.
Volunteer Requirements
All volunteers who work with children and/or vulnerable adults and all employees and clergy are required to register in Prevent and Protect STL* and complete 5 requirements:
- Order a new background check
- Attend a Protecting God’s Children Workshop
- Complete a Mandated Reporter Training Module
- Complete a Code of Conduct Training Module
- Sign the Code of Conduct
